One of the most popular and successful reality television shows, Bigg Boss has aired fifteen successful seasons. Tejasswi Prakash won the show in the previous season, with Pratik Sehajpal finishing in as the first runner-up. Bigg Boss 15 started off strong and was performing well on the TRP rankings, but after a few weeks, it dropped and the show was unable to ascend the ratings.
The creators are returning with a fresh season. They are already in the planning stages and have contacted numerous celebs. Divyanka Tripathi, Arjun Bijlani, Sanaya Irani, and Shiny Ahuja were among the few celebs who were reportedly approached for the show.
Salman Khan filmed the promo, which will be released in the second week of September, and the show is scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2022, as per sources. Shehnaaz Gill, a contestant on Bigg Boss 13, will appear on the debut episode and co-host it with Salman. There is no confirmation of this, though.
She is a beloved and well-known Bigg Bosscontestant who gained fame through the show and now has a sizable fan base. Fans still remember Shehnaaz for her adorable romance with late actor Sidharth Shukla, whom she had met on the show. Fans will undoubtedly be thrilled to see Salman Khan and Shehnaaz Gill together in the premiere episode of the new season.
