BIGG BOSS 16: Tina Dutta tells her mother to calm down and not to create drama, as Shalin Bhanot’s mother makes an entry

The mothers of Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot will enter the BB16 house together in the following episode. Viewers had been anticipating this heated confrontation between the parents.

When Tina Dutta sees her mother enter the house, she becomes sad. If Shalin is really in love with her, Tina was seen discussing it with her mother. Tina's mother rejects it, saying, "nahi nahi koi pyaar vyaar nahi hai"(no no there’s no love or anything).”

Additionally, Shalin Bhanot's mother also enters the home, giving the impression that a cold war is emerging there. Shalin's mother comes into the Bigg Boss 16 house as soon as Bigg Boss orders everyone to freeze. Tina advises her mum to avoid stirring up controversy for no apparent cause. Tina claims "mom be cool because I

don't want there to be any tamasha". Tina's mother replies saying "don't take the tension off Tamasha, you are my daughter and I am your mother. You are not my mother. You are not my mother.”

Tina touches Shalin Bhanot's mother's feet later on and asks for blessings in front of her mother and everyone else, which causes Tina's mother to be a little dubious.

A source close to the show told ETimes TV "Tina's mother wanted to add a special bengali touch to her entry and hence has taken Rasgullas for all the housemates. Since the family hails from Kolkata, she wanted to add a flavor of Bengal and turn the mood of BB 16 house sweeter."
