Charrul Malik of 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai' fame to debut with Marathi film 'Dashami'

Charrul Malik, best known for shows like 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai' and 'Happu Ki Ultan Paltan', is all set to make her movie debut in the upcoming Marathi film 'Dashami'.

Sharing her excitement over the news, Charrul revealed that her debut film will release next year. "In the film, I will be playing a girl whose name is also Charrul. I requested my director to retain my original name for the character and he happily agreed," she said beaming with joy.

Next schedule of Charrul's debut film to begin in February 2023

Malik also informed that the shooting for the film is already underway. Some portions have been filmed in Lucknow and Mumbai and the next schedule will start in February next year.

Refusing to divulge any details about 'Dashami', Rashmi adds that the project is a big-ticket release and at this juncture she cannot disclose anything about it.

Acting is all about being natural, says Charrul Malik

Not many know that Charrul started out as an anchor and made her way to television screens through sheer hard work and determination. "The difference in acting and anchoring is that in the latter you are the director, producer as well as the script writer. Whereas in acting, you have to follow what is told to you and work as per the expectations of your director," she asserts.

Reflecting on her journey so far, Charrul is in a happy space and wants her debut film to do well. "Whatever I do, I give my hundred per cent. As an actor, I believe in being natural and fortunately my character in the film is like me and hence I don't have to put extra effort," she concluded.
