If you are a fan of Colors’ popular show Choti Sarrdaarni, here is a piece of news that may break your heart. The news is coming in that the channel has decided to pull a plug on the show after almost three years of run.
Choti Sarrdaarni hit the airwaves in July 2020. And if fresh reports are to be believed, Colors will beam the final episode of the show on May 25.
Starring Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi in leading roles, Choti Sarrdaarni became an instant hit among the audience. It started off grabbing several eye balls for its strong storyline and powerful performances from the entire cast.
However, the show saw a decline in its viewership after the makers decided to go for a generation leap and introduced Gaurav Bajaj and Amandeep Sidhu as the new leads. Though Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia continued to post a leap and started playing her original character’s daughter, the new storyline did not find many takers and the show’ poor performance continued on the TRP chart. After some creative reasons, Ahluwalia also walked out of the show.
