Dheeraj Dhoopar to collaborate with Ekta Kapoor for a TV show? Read on for details

Dheeraj Dhoopar is undoubtedly one of the most prominent actors on Indian Television. The heartthrob, who played Karan Luthra in 'Kundali Bhagya', became a household name post his stint on the show. Dheeraj was last seen on Colors TV's show 'Sherdil Shergill' alongside Surbhi Chandna.

The series recently completed its run and Dheeraj is very keen to try something new for his fans and keep them hooked.

And if the latest buzz is to be believed, then the actor may soon collaborate again with Ekta Kapoor for an exciting new television series.

Noteworthy, the association between Dheeraj Dhoopar and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji has been great and the former has never shied away from expressing his indebtedness to Ekta for giving him 'Kundali Bhagya'.

It is being said that owing to Dheeraj's popularity and huge fan base, Ekta Kapoor is also very interested in casting him for a brand new show.

While not much is known about this new show, a source close to the development has revealed that Dheeraj is tight-lipped about it as the talks are still in very early stage. He has liked the script and his role and is looking forward to the new series.

The same source went on to add that Dheeraj will be seen in a never-seen-before romantic avatar in the new show.

Dheeraj had recently taken a career break to take care of his pregnant wife Vinny

In June 2022, Dheeraj Dhoopar had quit 'Kundali Bhagya' to take a paternity break for his pregnant wife Vinny Arora. In July 2022, he announced that he will be participating in the celeb dance show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10'. However, he walked out of the show in the fourth week, citing health and personal issues.

From September 2022 to February 2023, he appeared on Colors TV's 'Sherdil Shergill' as Rajkumar Yadav, opposite Surbhi Chandna.
