Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh have now legally parted ways after nine years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2012, and also has a two-year-old daughter Arya. According to reports, the divorce papers came through nine months ago but the former couple decided to keep the development away from the public.
The couple decided to separate in 2020. Sanjeeda also left their home later in the year. She got custody of their daughter and is now living with her parents along with her daughter.
Sanjeeda and Aamir like to live a private life, so they decided to not make any official announcement regarding their divorce.
Back in the day, Aamir and Sanjeeda were among some of the most popular television couples. They were participants in the reality dance show Nach Baliye 3. The couple also won that season. Some of the most popular shows of Sanjeeda are Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Ka, Ek Hasina Thi, and Love Ka Hai Intezaar. Aamir is also popular due to his shows Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki and F.I.R.
Although the former couple did not really speak about their marriage hitting rough spots, their fans were quick to notice. It is also reported that they had their daughter through surrogacy.
