The reality programme Big Boss 14 featured both Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan. The duo has been dating since they announced their love on the show. These two have been together for a long time, unlike many Bigg Boss housemates in the past who split up after the show. Whether in person or online, they have never shied away from expressing their love for one another. There have been rumours regarding their wedding, and the actress has often claimed that the reason for the delay is their busy business schedules. Now, Eijaz Khan has officially announced that he and Pavitra Punia are engaged after several days of rumours.

The actor revealed he proposed on Monday, August 3, by posting images from the occasion on Instagram. Eijaz Khan posted some hazy, dimly lit photos of him and Pavitra that showed them during their engagement. Along with the pictures, his caption read, “Baby, if we keep waiting for the right time, It’s never gonna be, I promise you my best, Will you marry me? She said ‘yes’. #eijazkhan #pavvitrapunia #taken #official # 03/10/22.” In the first image, he was seen presenting the ring to an uninformed Pavitra; in the following image, she had her hands over her face. The ring was on Pavitra's finger in the third image, and in the following one, she grinned as she proudly displayed it. Since then, celebrities have congratulated the couple on their announcement.

Eijaz had moved in with Pavitra earlier this year in her Malad apartment. In the meantime, Pavitra had disclosed their upcoming engagement and claimed that since they had been living together for some time, she and Eijaz were practically married. The wedding date has not yet been revealed.
