Niharika, who is 17-years-old shared, " I am quite happy with my stint in the show as I get to play varied emotions. Since the show focuses more on drama, we only have a few playing shots; co-star Akash Ahuja continues teaching me the gentlemen's game. At first, I was pretty wrong with the way I played cricket, having a weird murga stance, but I have learnt a lot thanks to Akash for the same."
Nihariaka credits the well-crafted drama for the show's success. "We have not deviated from cricket as the concept of the show; several shows lost their way. It is a very well written show."
When asked if success has changed the way the world perceives her, she said, "While for my parents, I am still their little girl, my college friends give me special treatment, which I like. Though I cannot attend college often because I am busy with my shoots."
Niharka started her career as a child artist with 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' back in 2013. She also did a cameo as a child artist in 'Qurbaan hua' on Zee TV. Reminiscing the same, Niharika shared, "I still remember that I got my first cheque of Rs. 5000 for my stint in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. When I entered the sets of Faltu, the gateman still remembered me. It was overwhelming to see the affection."
Way to go Niharika!
