‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is one of the most loved shows on television today. Starring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Ayesha Singh and now Harshad Arora in titular roles, the serial keeps introducing dramatic twists which come as shockers to the audience. Recently, Aishwarya has moved out of the show owing to her participation in stunt based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’.
Talking about Neil, who plays the role of Virat and has a significant contribution given that he is the show runner, he has been attracting quite some criticism from fans. While some appreciate his performance, there is a section of the audience who find his character to be unjust in taking decisions.
However, Neil takes the fan’s anger in his stride.
In an exclusive conversation with BollywoodMDB, Neil mentioned, “The makers plan twists to increase engagement by engineering a reaction. The fact that fans talk about the show 24/7 when the real show runs only for thirty minutes proves that the public is connecting with the show."
Neil adds, "It is essential to have a conversation. Whether it is positive or negative is secondary. The audience is very involved with the three principal characters- Sai, Virat and Pakhi. It is obvious that the audience would have their perspective and opinions on the three characters. I am thrilled that people have a view of loving and hating Virat and I take it positively for whatever we do and perform has an impact. Whatever is happening is a result of sheer hard work and planning.”
