Exclusive! Star Plus’ New Show Starring Krushal, Hiba, and Chandni Gets Its TITLE; Plot And Other Details Revealed

BollywoodMDB broke the news about actress Chandni Sharma of ‘Kaamnaa’ fame being roped in for Star Plus’ next to be produced by Magic Moments Production House.

Star Plus is ruling the TRP charts with popular shows like ‘Anupamaa’ and ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. It is a known fact that these shows are adapted from popular Bengali shows. ‘Anupamaa’ has been adapted and is inspired by Bengali show ‘Sreemoyee’ while ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is adapted from ‘Kusum Dola’. Both shows were produced by Magic Moments Production House.

After witnessing the success of their original shows on Hindi GEC, the makers of these shows are now venturing into Hindi television show production in association with Star Plus. This will be their first Hindi TV show. We also exclusively reported that actor Krushal Ahuja, a successful actor in the Bengali industry, will be seen playing the lead role in the show. Krushal has also been a part of Hindi TV world as he played the lead role in Zee TV show ‘Rishton Ka Manjha’. A little birdie has also informed us that actress Hiba Nawab is being considered to play one of the leads in the show. We also reported about actor Sachin Verma bagging the show as lead’s father.

Now, BollywoodMDB has learned about the title of the project. As per sources, makers have zeroed up on ‘Jannat’ as the title of the show. A source revealed, “While a final call is yet to be taken, the show is most likely to be titled JANNAT”.

A little birdie has informed us that the primary cast of the show will leave for the shoot in Kolkata this week, as the show is said to be entirely shot there. Upon digging up more details, we got to know that the project is a remake of Magic Moments Productions’ Bengali show ‘Jol Nupur’. Jol Nupur’s story revolved around the lead couple falling in love and being forced to get married because of some rituals.

In the first schedule, the team is said to shoot for the promo and initial episodes of the show.
