- Tell us about the first instance when you felt that you’d become the talk of the town.

I don’t remember but the time when I was on the list of top Google Asian celebrities was the time I felt that I have become the talk of the town.

- Over a period of time, you’ve been getting support from popular celebrities. How does that make you feel?

I am neutral about getting love and hate. I don’t really focus on what people are talking about me. I just focus on myself. Support or criticism doesn’t affect me.

- Did you expect that your fashion sense would be appreciated?

I have been into fashion since I was very young. I always loved trying new things and wanted to do this. Being appreciated or not appreciated doesn’t really help me. I just kept on doing what I like and my vision is something that matters the most.

- Has the number of haters and trolls got down?

The number of haters and trollers has gone from 100% to 99%. I don’t see as much of a difference in the number of trolls because they mostly only have negative things to talk about me. I am used to it so I don’t think about it and mostly focus on what I have to do and what I want to do.

- You’d mentioned that people (relatives) shamed you and character-assassinated you after your picture got leaked. What do they tell you now when you’re successful?

The same relatives who shamed me at that time want selfies with me now. They want to talk to me, they want to keep relations with me now. It’s weird but when you get money and fame everyone wants to be seen with you.

- Does the actor inside you yearn for an acting project?

To be honest, I am not very keen on acting. I would like to take up acting only when I have something good to offer and something which would actually help me as an actor and also improve my acting skills.

- What’s next for Uorfi?

You will get to know that asap. There is something really interesting coming soon.
