When asked what his favourite meal is, Chopda says that it changes, but he often wants Dal Baati and Paneer Parathas because he likes the taste and texture of them.
Harshad says that he doesn't eat out much, but he has a few favourite places in Pune, like Chaitanya and Nandu's, where he loves the Parathas. Brown bread and peanut butter are a must-have at his breakfast table. He says that coffee is his favourite drink, like a hot cup of black coffee without sugar or a cold drink with a bit of sweetness. He often drinks chocolate-flavored versions of coffee, like cold coffee.
Harshad is not too picky about what he eats for lunch and dinner. Instead, he likes to go with the flow and eat whatever is offered. He talks about his favourite desserts, saying that he likes sponge cakes with a light creaminess and that he likes most sweets in general.

His love of food has no limits, and he says that he can't stop eating even after he's just eaten. His never-ending desire for food hasn't changed over the years. When it comes to drinks, he says that his favourite non-alcoholic drink is a protein shake, and that the Anjeer milkshake is his absolute favourite.
Chopda, unlike some people, doesn't drink booze and usually doesn't go to parties at all. He thinks back to a collection of Kashmiri dishes made by (Laboni Maa) from the set of ‘Tere Liye’ as the most unusual dish he has ever eaten. Even though he can't remember their names, he will always remember these unusual food products.

According to him there isn't much room for experimentation in the world of food, but he has a deep respect for the many different ways to eat. When it comes to Indian street food, he can't stop eating pani puri, bhel, sev puri, dahi puri, pav bhaji, tava pulao, and cheese tava pulao.
Chopda used to cook because he needed to, and he named it "Compound food." No one knows, though, if he still likes to cook as a hobby. Harshad Chopda's relationship with the world of food hasn't changed much over the years, but his love of food and his insatiable hunger have.
