Gauahar Khan REVEALS The Secret To Her Post-Delivery Weight Loss Journey

On May 10, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar welcomed a boy into the world. He was given the name Zehaan by the couple. New mothers frequently struggle with body image issues shortly after giving birth. The Ishaqzaade actress has now spoken out about her remarkable post-partum weight loss journey, emphasizing the value of "physical activity" after giving birth in a recent discussion with a media portal.

Gauahar Khan recently stated on her Instagram stories that she shed 10 kg in just 10 days after giving birth to Zehaan. The actress said that she was also taken by surprise. “I thought that I would take a while to lose the pregnancy weight. Keeping the baby weight aside, you still lose, a couple of kilos in 5-6 weeks but I don’t know how I suddenly dropped 10kgs,” she said.

Gauahar Khan gave herself credit for losing the weight so quickly, claiming that since she was highly active after giving birth, it may have sped up the process. “I was completely active right from the second-morning post-delivery, up and about doing everything on my own for my baby. The physical activity, maybe fatigue even, and everything I needed to put in for the child led to the weight loss,” she said.

Gauahar Khan continued by saying that difficulties with her infant also turned out to be beneficial for her efforts to lose weight.The actress claimed that even if her sister, mother, and mother-in-law fed her enough, she burnt calories by staying up all night because Zehaan wouldn't go to sleep when he should have and would become overheated after "every two hours." “All that movement, took my weight away, I guess,” said Gauhar.

On December 25, 2020, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar were married in a religious ceremony. Three years later, Zehaan was born. A day after Zehaan was born, Gauahar sent a sweet message on Instagram to inform her followers of the news. Zehaan's face has not yet been revealed by the actress, despite the fact that she frequently posts glimpses of the little child.
