Ayesha Singh was questioned by an entertainment portal if she can recall her first day on the ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ set. The actress says she recalls it vividly. Ayesha claims that some individuals had second thoughts about the show's decision to cast her as Sai Joshi. The actress admits that she also contemplated staying away from the filming locations. According to Ayesha, her friends were ecstatic about her new adventure. She said that she had a terrible first day. According to Ayesha, an actor is aware of when their work is going wrong and the reactions of those around them.

Although she was aware that people were not enjoying it, her buddies stepped in to save the day. They helped her, and when she arrived at the set the following day, it worked out really well. Sanjay Narvekar, who portrayed her Aaba (father) on the show, joined her for the shoot. Ayesha claims that she has a close relationship with him.
