Hiba Nawab shares her thoughts on working in a daily soap

Hiba Nawab is one of the most popular actresses on Indian television, who has been a part of some successful shows in the past. She currently stars in Rajan Shahi’s Woh Toh Hai Albelaa, which airs on Star Bharat.

The show has been performing really well ever since hitting the airwaves a couple of weeks ago. Apart from the engaging storyline, what has worked wonders for the show is its ensemble cast, which includes the likes of Shaheer Sheikh, Hiba Nawab, Kinshuk Vaidya, Anuj Sachdev, among others.

A leading entertainment portal recently connected with the show’s female lead Hiba Nawab and asked her how it has been working with the team of Woh Toh Hai Albelaa.

“It is really nice working with such amazing people, starting from the makers of the show, Rajanji. I will be working with him after 7 years and it was definitely an amazing experience before. Our director, Romeshji, it was very nice working with him,” the actress said.

Nawab went on to add, “As for my co-actors, it is great working with Shaheer, Anuj, Kinshuk, the two sisters, and my mother and father on the show, and Pallavi ji. I feel that acting is all about reacting and if I am performing with such fine actors, I believe I will perform better and it is a good thing.”

When asked if working on a daily soap requires a lot of energy, time and effort, she said, “Working in a daily soap is very consuming, especially when you happen to work in a show that requires intense scenes, drama, and it consumes you because you are in your character for good 12-13 hours and you start to feel that way. Sometimes, when your character is depressed, you feel like that, but this has been a part of my life for 10 years now, so I am used to it. I do switch it off but there are days when it is difficult and that's how it is. However, you get used to it.”
