“I like to be nervous before I sign up for something,” Aneri Vajani on joining the cast of Anupama
Star Plus’ Anupamaa is the top-rated show on Indian television, which has managed to entertain audiences ever since its beginning in 2020. Produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut, the show boasts of a stellar cast, including Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, and Madalsa Sharma. Joining them now is supremely talented actress Aneri Vajani. If reports are to be believed, the actress will play the sister of Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna) on the show.
Talking to a publication, Vajani said that she likes to be nervous before she does a scene or signs up for something. “So, I always believe that whenever I am nervous about something, that is when I do something good, and I try to do better. I like being nervous is the point and I am very, very excited to be a part of Anupamaa. I like to be nervous before I do a scene or before I sign up for something. It makes me work a little harder and that is the most important thing. Anupamaa is a cult show and everyone watches it, so it could not have been better,” she said.
All the shows that Aneri Vajani has done previously, she joined them from the beginning. But here, she enters Anupama mid-way. When asked about the same, she said, “I have never ever entered a show mid-way, I have always been there from the beginning, so this is the first time this is happening and that too Anupamaa. So, of course, the pressure is always going to be there but I am just going to keep working hard and leave the rest to the audience about how they want to accept me in the show.”
