‘Imlie’ Actor Shaan Mishra HIGHLIGHTS His Work Experience And Feels Everyone Should SUPPORT Each Other To Grow (Details Inside)

Actors have been time and again spoken about toxic work culture in the industry. Many have opened up about the incidents on the set, especially of big projects. The recent example would be things that are happening around the show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’ At times, one does not have a choice but to continue as there is much competition and a dearth of opportunities one wants to take up. Good work environment in any profession is of prime importance. ‘Imlie’ actor Shaan Mishra says a happy environment in the workspace is everything.

“We should maintain a positive vibe with everyone on set and also bond well with all. That everyone works with a good mindset is mandatory. There are a lot of things that happen on the set. Some unfair things happen between the production team and the actors, and there are also at times differences among actors. But I feel this shouldn’t happen because it is very important to work in a happy environment as that helps in maintaining sanity,” he says.

Shaan feels we all should support each other to grow. He also shares an incident to highlight what he himself faced.

“When we have a toxic environment it becomes a necessity to adjust because of the work and not enjoy the work. I have been through this once, because of one actor and her tantrums we all had to go through so much negativity. And the whole cast and crew didn’t want to work with her. Each and everyone used to wait for her and she did not respect anyone. Later on the producer replaced her in just 2 months of her work So I have been through it. And politics is there not only in the entertainment industry but in each and every industry,” he adds.
