With her journey as the new Imlie following the leap, the actress has been capturing hearts and demonstrating her talent with ease. With the Bengali serial Joto Hashi Tato Ranna, the actress made her acting debut. She made her debut on Hindi television with ‘Badii Devrani’.

She then appeared in television shows such as ‘Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par’ and Peshwa Bajirao. Krishna Chali London swiftly made her a household name. Megha also starred as 'Gulaal' in the film 'Desert Tears,' which depicted female oppression in rural India and was shot in the state of Rajasthan.’

When she first moved to Mumbai, she shared an apartment with another actress, Riya Sen Gupta. Megha is a diligent actress who learned sword skills and horseback riding for her role as Mastani in Peshwa Bajirao. Megha Chakraborty is currently the lead in the popular Star Plus show, ‘Imlie’.

Ups and downs are there in everyone’s career but I am blessed that things are going great and I am enjoying my work. I wanted to be a dancer, but acting happened suddenly. I just gave my shot in one of the auditions and then I got selected and then my journey started."

Apart from acting she also co-founded the production company 'Mismanaged Company' with Sahil Phull. Her debut job would be the web series 'Dil-e-couch,' in which she played the role of Nima; the series launch would be on the YouTube channel 'Mismanaged Company.'
