Songs Sung By Contestant Shivam Singh Got Ranbir Kapoor In Tears
Shivam Singh, one of the show's most beloved contestants, will play two of the greatest songs of all time, Tu Koi Aur Hai and Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan, in a moving performance that will make Ranbir Kapoor cry.
Ranbir Kapoor will continue by describing how significant to him these songs are, “I am not an emotional kind of a person but when I heard Shivam perform, it made me quite emotional. Tu Koi Aur Hai is from my film 'Tamasha' and I have to give it to Shivam for such an unusual choice, as not many people talk about it. But it is one of my absolute favourites in my career and the way Shivam performed, I think he beautifully presented the philosophy of the film Tamasha through this song. And the second song, Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan is like every artist’s philosophy and anthem. If every artist irrespective of the medium we work in follows this philosophy for their respective art, it can make them successful in their lives. This is a great lesson that Mr. Raj Kapoor left for us through this song. But the funny fact is that both the films - 'Tamasha' and 'Mera Naam Joker' did not do well at the Box Office but I can say wherever I go, people appreciate me for my performance in 'Tamasha'. 'Tamasha' is a film that inspired many to quit their regular jobs and chase their dreams. Whereas Mera Naam Joker is one of the most talked about movies, I recently went to a film school in New York and there I saw people having lengthy discussions on the film. So, I would truly like to thank Shivam for such a heartwarming performance, it really made my day.”
