One of the most prominent and popular singing reality shows on Indian television, Indian Idol has offered many aspiring singers a chance to shine on a national scale. The show, which debuted in 2004, has given the country amazing voices like Salman Ali (winner of Season 10), Sunny Hindustani (winner of Season 11), and most recently Pawandeep Rajan (winner of Season 12), who captivated the nation with his melodic voice. After enthralling viewers worldwide, the reality show is back with a new season.
The auditions for the eagerly anticipated singing reality show Indian Idol 13, which will shortly go on air, were held in Mumbai today (July 24). At the location, where the audition round began at 8:00 AM, there were about 1300 entries. The channel has further planned a comprehensive multi-city audition series that would go across the nation after the auditions in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Patna, Kolkata, Indore, and Lucknow.
Aditya Narayan who is the host of the show conveys his enthusiasm about the new season saying, “Indian Idol - one of the most prestigious shows on Indian Television is back! In its 13th season, the property that recently announced its multi city on-ground auditions finally reached the ‘City of Dreams’ – Mumbai!
