Jennifer Winget on divorce with Karan Singh Grover and finding a new version of herself
Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover have grown apart and are content with their lives. However, there was a moment when their separation was particularly difficult for them since their personal lives were out in the open, and they were subjected to a barrage of criticism.
They aren't friends, but they are well-wishers for each other. Jennifer, who is still single following her divorce from Karan, has now opened up about the difficult time she had during their split.
In a recent interview, the Beyhadh (2016) actress said, “My separation time was a very stressful and difficult time for me as everything was on social media and so many wrong things were written about me and him, which was very disturbing because at that time, we both needed privacy. But nothing seemed private as everything was out in the open.”
She continued, "I was totally lost and didn't know what to do and how to deal with it. Luckily, work helped me to come out of it. I became stronger. The period was definitely challenging. I learnt so much about myself. Even though it was a tough period for me, I feel some things happen for a reason as I got to meet a new version of me, Jennifer 2.0.”
On the work front, Jennifer Winget’s series Code M 2 releases today on 9th June, 2022.
