Kapil posted a sneak peek of his song video on his Instagram account, along with Yogita Bihani. The latter was seen following her in a black suit while the former was seen rushing after her in a bright red gown in the clip. Dropping the video, he wrote in the caption as, “Capturing the emotions that love brings along in #Alone. Song releasing on 9th February 2023. Stay tuned.”

The film, which is based in Bhubaneswar and is directed by Nandita Das, follows a food delivery person as they navigate the gig economy. In the movie, which was also made by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Shahana Goswami plays a homemaker who decides to work for the first time in order to support her husband's (Kapil) wages.
