Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 has Kavita Chawla as its first crorepati

From the moment she raced to hug the host, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, to the moment she was proclaimed as this season's first Crorepati, homemaker Kavita Chawla of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, was destined to make history. Kavita Chawla would find herself shouting with joy on Sony Entertainment Television's Kaun Banega Crorepati- Season 14 as she would win the illustrious sum of 1 crore, surpassing the threshold of "Dhan Amrit"—INR 75 lakhs. When she reached 7.5 crores, she would either be proclaimed the season's first Crorepati and be sent home, or she would drop to 75 lacs.
The exciting gaming would be broken up by some really fascinating dialogues, one of which would have Mrs. Chawla telling about how she used to earn 20 rupees per day and how she once got 3, 20,000 in just a few hours using her wits. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan will praise Kavita Ji and explain how much the check for 3 lacs, 20 thousand means to her and how every penny of her earnings is estimated in the cheque.
The official handle of Sony Entertainment Television shared the promo of the episode and wrote, “Housewife _kavitachawla ji ne Rs. 1 crore jeet kar KBC season 14 mein ek naya itihaas rach diya!.” Talking about the same, Kavita said, “I am really hoping and looking forward to answering the Rs 7.5 crore question too…And if I also win the next question of Rs 7.5 crore, I will build my own bungalow and travel the world.”
According to reports, Kavita barely completed Class XII of study, but she made an effort to maintain her passion for reading and studying. She also mentioned how she had always wanted to be on the show and how it had come true for her. "I did that, in part, so I could appear on KBC. I've wanted to be a part of the show since 2000. I entered the competition last year as well, but I only advanced to the fastest finger round. I've achieved my dream this year by getting to this point. I used to learn together with my son whenever I had him study, Kavita remarked.
