Little did the industry expect ‘Naagin 6’ to perform as well as it did as it brought back the franchise starring Tejaswi Prakash. It has a respectable viewership and is one of the channel's best-performing properties. The weekend drama is the top GEC's saviour at a time when many programmes have struggled to draw viewers.

Tejasswi Prakash has been praised everywhere for her outstanding performance in ‘Naagin 6’. She is the only actress to have romanced this many male performers in one play. The ‘Bigg Boss 15’ winner has displayed her hot chemistry with many actors, including Simba Nagpal and Shrey Mittal.
‘Naagin 6’ has received an extension, which was initially confirmed by an entertainment news portal. "Several new shows on the channel are not performing well in terms of TRPs. Only ‘Naagin 6’ and ‘Udaariyaan’ are gaining decent numbers. Tejasswi Prakash's show is like a golden goose for Colors and they won't be killing it soon when other properties have failed," a reliable source shared.
"The channel has taken a decision on ‘Naagin 6's’ fate as Bekaboo has also failed to grab decent eyeballs during weekends. Contrary to the rumours, the supernatural drama is not going off air anytime soon," the source said when asked about ‘Naagin 6's’ extension.
Along with Neil Bhatt and Harshad Arora, Ayesha Singh will shortly leave ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. The filmmakers have chosen to incorporate a generational shift since they feel the plot has reached its conclusion.
Ayesha and Neil will leave the programme after the jump, making room for the new cast of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’. Ayesha may appear in the upcoming ‘Naagin’ episode, if recent industry rumours are to be believed.
There were several rumours that the Colors channel would not complete ‘Naagin 6’ because it couldn't find a good actress for ‘Naagin 7’. Finally, we now have an insider's update on the seventh season.
