Rakhi Sawant has been in the headlines recently due to her feud with her former spouse Adil Khan Durrani. Many of Rakhi's friends, including actress Tanushree, backed Adil. In a recent development, the actress revealed why she filed the FIR and what she anticipates.

Tanushree Dutta, according to ETimes, filed a FIR against Rakhi Sawant, accusing her of creating psychological and emotional distress. "I have come here to file a FIR against Rakhi Sawant for the psychological trauma she caused in 2018 during the Me-Too Movement," she explained. “Many criminal codes have been introduced to the FIR for a variety of reasons. We have kept a record of every statement she made against me. She will not be spared this time. Now that the process has commenced, they will take action shortly, and I have supplied them with all of the background information."

Tanushree explained that during the film 'Horn Ok Please', the producers initially removed Rakhi Sawant and brought her on board, and then following the controversy with Nana Patekar, they brought Rakhi back. Tanushree says it was a premeditated appearance to increase exposure for the film by leveraging her name. She also said that they had returned all of her checks.

The issue of why she waited so long to file the FIR now emerges. Tanushree Dutta said, "I went through a lot of emotional and psychological trauma because of Rakhi. She had said such terrible things about me. I couldn't take it. Rakhi has a new drama every year to stay in the limelight. She ruined my whole reputation. She attacked my personal life; I couldn't get married because of her. Rakhi kept pestering me for the longest time."

"I was already awake, and I had filed a complaint against Nana Patekar in 2008 and again in 2018." Rakhi had made me sick and weak in 2018 because of her cheap movies and charges against me. Now that I'm back and have the opportunity to pursue legal action, I'll make sure Rakhi is held accountable for what she's done to me. "I admit that I couldn't deal with her aggression before, but now I can," Tanushree said.
