Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Made Tejo ICONIC In 'Udaariyaan' - Producer Sargun Mehta (Watch Video)

Sargun and Ravi, the show's creators, have consistently taken active roles as producers and creators. As ‘Udaariyaan’ marked their debut production, it held a deep emotional significance for them. As ‘Udaariyaan’ embarks on another generation leap, Sargun expressed her sentiments on Instagram, offering a heartfelt series of gratitude and farewells to the cast.

In a heartfelt tribute to the original cast, Sargun Mehta, who also produces the show, expressed gratitude towards Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, Isha Malviya, Karan Grover, Twinkle Arora, Hitesh Bharadwaj, Sonakshi Batra, Rohit Purohit, and Vivian Dsena for their memorable portrayals. Additionally, she extended her encouragement to the incoming actors Alisha Parveen, Aditi Bhagat, and Anuraj Chahal, who will lead the narrative post the leap.

Last week, the popular Colors show introduced the new star cast for the roles of Alia, Aasma, and Armaan through an engaging promo. In tribute to the previous cast, Sargun penned heartfelt messages for each of them and shared a video compilation on her social media platforms.

To Priyanka Chahar, who played the lead two years ago, she said, “She didn’t play the character of tejo, she made it iconic. This message is a year too late but i had to put it out there. Thank you for being such a strong pillar of Udaariyaan. We love you and hope you know you have a family in us.” Further talking about Ankit Gupta, who is also working with them for ‘Junooniyatt’ now, she continued, “You were the 1st audition we saw for Udaariyaan and it felt like Fateh and you were a match made in heaven. And now you are killing it as jahaan everyday. Dreamiyata is and will always be your family. Love love and love to you.”

Further she also penned a message for the new cast saying, “You 3 have really big shoes to fill.. par waqt aa gaya hai apna jalwa dikhane ka... rock it superstars. Let the show begin”
