Rohit Satia reacts to claims of having a relationship with Nisha Rawal, says Karan Mehra is secretly dating 'MM'
Recently, Karan Mehra held a press conference where he accused his estranged wife Nisha Rawal of indulging in an extramarital affair with her 'Rakhi brother' Rohit Satia. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2009) actor alleged that Rohit had been living with Nisha and their kid Kavish in their Mumbai house for more than a year and further charged him with being a "chain smoker." He additionally disclosed that Rohit had performed Nisha's "kanyadaan" at their wedding.
Rohit criticised Karan for allegedly "tarnishing" his reputation and unnecessarily bringing up his name in this a few days after the press conference. He said,"Now that my name has been dragged into this, I am obviously not happy. My image has been tarnished. I am consulting my lawyers. I am going to come out with the entire truth of this story but you’ll have to wait for it. I might even have a press conference."
He further denied the reports of dating Nisha Rawal and said, "I knew Nisha much before Karan came into her life. I am right now in Lucknow with my wife (Nidhi) and kid and ``If a man is having an affair outside his marriage, would his wife allow him to come home?"
Further, Rohit Satia claimed that Karan Mehra's relationship with a girl is the cause of their strained marriage. Rohit did not say what the girl's name was, but he did say that her initials are 'MM'.
On November 24, 2012, Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal tied the knot.
