Shaheer Sheikh loses his father to COVID-19; Aly Goni offers condolences

Shaheer Sheikh, who is famous for his roles in TV shows like Mahabharat (2013), Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi (2016) and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke (2019-2020), has suffered a great loss as his father, Shahnawaz Sheikh, passed away last night.
Shaheer Sheikh shared a tweet recently where he revealed that his father is on a ventilator and asked fans to pray for him. The actor wrote, “My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe COVID infection. Please keep him in your prayers.”

Hours after, the news came out that the actor’s father is no more in this world. Aly Goni took to Twitter to offer his condolences as soon as he received the news. "Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May Allah rest uncle's soul in peace bhai Shaheer_S stay strong bhai,” he wrote.

Other than Aly, several fans, colleagues, and friends have tweeted offering their condolences and emotional support.
On the work front, Shaheer Sheikh will be seen in Pavitra Rishta 2, where he will return as Manav Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande will return as Archana Deshmukh.
