Shehnaaz Gill opens up on dealing with trolls

Shehnaaz Gill became a household name after her participation in the 13th season of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss. The actress met television heartthrob Sidharth Shukla on the show and the two were inseparable until Shukla passed away last year in 2021.
The sudden death of Sidharth Shukla took a toll on Gill’s health and she stayed away from work for several months to get back to her normal self. Now, she has been working non-stop for the past few months. However, there have been multiple occasions where she had to face merciless trolls. She was once trolled simply for enjoying herself at an engagement party.
During her appearance on Shilpa Shetty’s chat show, Shape of You, when Shetty asked her about getting trolled for just being happy, Gill said that Sidharth always wanted her to be happy.
“If I get the chance to laugh, then I will laugh, I will stay happy. If I feel like celebrating Diwali then I will celebrate Diwali. Because happiness is very important in life. I also try to do that by myself. Today is the first time I am talking about this and it’s only because you are asking me to. Otherwise, I never talk about these things no matter who says what,” Gill told Shetty.
