The popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has recently encountered a series of controversies, significantly impacting its once unwavering popularity. The sitcom witnessed the departure of several prominent figures, including Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Raj Anadkat, Disha Vakani, and Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. Even the director, Malav Rajda, and his wife Priya Ahuja exited the show due to alleged toxic work dynamics.

Last month, Priya Ahuja confirmed her departure from TMKOC. She alleged that Asit Kumarr Modi, the show's producer, harbored resentment towards her following Malav's exit due to their marital relationship. The actress, known for portraying the character Rita Reporter, also accused Modi of intertwining personal and professional matters.

In a recent Instagram Q&A session, Malav Rajda broke his silence on various matters surrounding ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Responding to a fan's plea for his return to the show, “Wapis TMKOC me aa jao”, with the song 'Ho Nahi Sakta' from the movie ‘Diljale’, featuring Ajay Devgn and Sonali Bendre, Malav Rajda unequivocally expressed his sentiments.

Another user questioned, “Do you still have good bond with any of the actors from TMKOC, including those who left the show?” Malav Rajda expressed he “realized” that a “most” of the actors from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ are akin to chameleons. Nevertheless, he made it clear that he maintains contact with individuals including Palak Sindhwani, Kush Shah, Azhar Shaikh, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Amit Bhatt, and Ambika Rajankar.

Malav wrote “#Impossible” to a fan who asked, “Agar aapko mauka mile toh aap wapis tmkoc aaoge aap?”

A ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ fan asked, “But aapko fame to tmkoc se hi mila fir itna hate kyu?” Malav Rajda responded, “It’s always give and take… I got a lot from the show… can never hate the show… only gratitude for it.”
