Rumours were doing the rounds lately that Star Bharat was set to pull the plug on its recently launched show Tera Mera Saath Rahe to make way for producer Rajan Shahi’s next offering starring television heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh in the lead role.
However, if fresh reports are to be believed, the show is not facing the axe anytime soon and the same has been confirmed by none other than actress Giaa Manek who essays the lead role on Tera Mera Saath Rahe.
When a leading entertainment portal contacted Manek to confirm the development, the actress denied the news and refuted the rumours circulating around. “The show is not going off air. News is incorrect. All just speculations,” she told the publication.
Meanwhile, Rajan Shahi’s next for Star Bharat is billed as a romantic saga. According to reports, the untitled show will feature three female leads. Reportedly, Hiba Nawab has been finalised to play one of the female leads while Shaheer Sheikh is onboard as the male lead. However, neither the actors nor the makers have confirmed the casting. More details on the show and casting are expected to arrive soon.
