In the Bigg Boss house, Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla became good friends. She even told him several times how much she loved him. Despite being exceedingly close, they never acknowledged their connection in writing. Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2021. Shehnaaz Gill will make her Bollywood debut in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, the forthcoming film starring Salman Khan. Additionally, Palak Tiwari, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, and Venkatesh Daggubati will appear in the movie. Release day is set for April 21, 2023.
Salman Khan criticized social media users for making the word "Sidnaaz" trend on the platform while he and Shehnaaz Gill were busy promoting 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. Social media users have been sharing a clip from The Kapil Sharma Show in which Salman Khan is seen chastising fans for using the hashtag 'Sidnaaz' and upsetting Shehnaaz.

Salman emphasized that when suspicions about dating her 'Bigg Boss 13' co-contestant first surfaced, the same supporters had previously teased her. Salman Khan claimed that Shehnaaz finds it challenging to move on because she is frequently linked to the "Sidnaaz" fad on social media. Even without Sidharth Shukla, the actor stated, Shehnaaz should find love and happiness. Salman Khan is heard stating the following in a short clip from the programme: “Kuch time pehle inko (Shehnaaz Gill) ‘Sidnaaz Sidnaaz’ karke bolte the. Ab woh duniya mai nahi raha aur vo jahan pe bhi hai, vo bhi yahi chahega ki inki zindagi mai koi aaye, you know shaadi hojaaye, bacche hojaaye (some used to address her saying ‘Sidnaaz’. Sidharth is not among us anymore but even he would have wanted her to move on and start a family)."
He added: “Par social media pe yeh kuch log jo Sidnaaz Sidnaaz karke, kya zindagi bhar yeh kunwari rahegi kya? Aur yeh jitney bhi Sidnaaz karte hai inmein se kisi ek ko chunliya toh vo abhi kahega haan mai tumhara hun. Toh kya bakwas baatien hai ye, kisi ki sunana nahi sirf aapne dil ki suno and move on in life (People on social media still keep bugging her with ‘Sidnaaz’, what do you think she should be single for life? If she chooses one among those Sidnaaz fans, they will happily accept to be her partner. So, all of this is nonsense. Don’t listen to them, listen to your heart and move on in life)."
