Tirthanand Rao, a well-known TV star, tried to attempt suicide for the second time, which shocked his fans again. When he tried to kill himself in 2022, the actor, who had been on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ with comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, said it was because of money problems. But this time, Tirthanand blamed his live-in partner. He said that she had tortured him so much that he felt he had to kill himself. During a Facebook Live session on June 14, Tirthanand took Phenyl in front of social media users to show that he didn't want to live any longer.

After seeing the sad event online, the actor's friends went to his house right away and called the cops. After that, Tirthanand was taken to a nearby hospital for care. In an interview with a news channel, he said that his girlfriend was to blame for his growing debt, which he said was around Rs 3–4 lakhs. Tirthanand said that his partner made him leave the home they shared, so he was homeless for a few weeks. He said that he had to live on the streets for ten to fifteen days.

During the Facebook Live session, Tirthanand talked about how rough things had been between him and his lover and why he wanted to end them. But he said she started making threats and even opened a case against him. The star said he wanted to kill himself because he was frustrated and tired of the situation.
