Actor Sheezan Khan was arrested in Tunisha Sharma’s abetment to suicide case. Tunisha Sharma was his co-actress and former girlfriend. Now he was granted bail on March 4. He was taken into custody on December 26 after Tunisha’s mother filed a complaint of abetment to suicide against Sheezan Khan. He has been in jail for 2 and a half months.

Sheezan's Lawyer, Shailendra, spoke to a popular news channel, “Sachhai ki jeet hui hai, Satyameva Jayate. He was innocent, he is innocent. The judgement in the High Court will also prove his innocence. Our hearing at the High Court is pending. It is on March 9 where we will seek to quash the FIR filed against him. He has been granted bail by the Vasai court. I will try to get him out this evening or Monday morning. We are thankful and grateful to everybody who has supported us and not supported us.”
He said, “Sheezan has been granted bail on a surety of Rs 1,00,000. We are in the process of complying with the terms and conditions set out by the court. Other conditions that he has been asked to abide by are not tampering with the evidence, influencing the complainant, and travelling without prior permission. He has been directed to attend trial regularly.”
