Upasana Singh reveals why she left The Kapil Sharma Show even after being paid well
Upasana Singh revealed why she chose to quit The Kapil Sharma Show, and no, it wasn't for financial reasons.

Upasana Singh has worked in the entertainment industry for decades. Although she has developed a reputation for her performances, the actress is best known for her comic timing. Over the years, she has appeared in several Bollywood films. She also appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, known as Comedy Nights With Kapil back then, for more than two years before deciding to quit. She now revealed the reason for her decision to quit.
Now, Upasana addressed her exit from the programme in 2017 in a recent interview. The actor-comedian revealed that she left the show since she wasn't feeling good and wasn't enjoying her role. She said, “Money is important to an extent, But after a point, your satisfaction becomes more important. I only want to do roles that make me feel good. Like I was doing the Kapil show, it was at the top for 2-2.5 years. Then came a point where I felt that I don't have much to do in this. I was getting good money. I told Kapil that I don't have much to do here, give me something like the role I did at the beginning of the show as I enjoyed that very much. Isme maza nahi aa raha hai (It's not fun anymore).”
On the work front, Upasana is set to make her OTT debut with the psychological thriller series Masoom. Samara Tijori and Boman Irani also star in key roles. On June 17, Disney+ Hotstar will begin streaming it.
