After much-anticipation, Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 6 has finally started airing on Colors. The show seems to have hit the right chord with the audience and is expected to have a great run.
While Tejasswi Prakash and Simba Nagpal play the lead pair on the show, Naagin 6 also marks the return of popular television actress Urvashi Dholakia after a long gap of 4 years. She was last seen in Chandrakanta - Ek Mayavi Prem Katha, again by content czarina Ekta Kapoor.
Dholakia plays an ultra-rich woman and a doting mother to her daughters. No further information is available about her role. “You'll have to see the show to know more,” the actress had recently said upon being asked about her character.
While her fans are thrilled to see her back on the screen, her mother is the most excited as she always wanted to see her daughter in Naagin.
“My family is always happy when I am working. My boys are always happy for their mother. But my mother is super excited. She told me, ‘I have always wondered why Ekta did not take you in Naagin?’ So, I told her that now her dream has come true,” the actress said.
She added, “There is a perfect time for everything to happen. In my case, the writers and the producers, and the team had to figure out what characterization would suit me best. It took some time for them to create a role suited best for me, but now I am back to working with Balaji.”
Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Naagin 6 airs on Colors TV on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 PM.
