Viewers are skeptical of Neha Kakkar welcoming Falguni Pathak to Indian Idol after their war of words

As their fans watched their online spat over the former's version of the latter's original song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai, Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak, two well-known singers, paired up for season 13 of the singing competition show Indian Idol. Recently, Falguni Pathak expressed her displeasure with Neha's song O Sajna's reproduction of her popular 1990s song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. The two are featured in a Navratri-themed episode of Indian Idol, according to a new teaser released by Sony.

Falguni Pathak on Indian Idol

This weekend's theatre round of Indian Idol 13 will feature Falguni as a part of the Garba night. Neha is pictured holding dandiya sticks while standing among Indian Idol participants dressed in pink in the teaser, which is styled after a newspaper piece. As they kick off the theatre round with a Garba night, she introduces "famous Falguni ma'am" to the audience. Falguni continues to sing Garba songs as everyone around her plays the dandiya, including the emcee Aditya Narayan and judges Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya.

In response to the promo, some viewers referred to their exchange of words as a marketing stunt. "Song ko popular karvane ke liye kya kya karte hai yeh log," someone remarked. "pehle social media par lad ke attention grab karte hai phir ek sath TV par perform karte hai." Kya dikhava hai yaar (what all these individuals do to make the song a hit) refers to how they compete for attention on social media before joining forces to sing on TV. Wow, what a showoff. Ye log bas public standards ke liye karte hai (these guys do everything for the public), wrote one Instagram user.

Falguni Pathak On the Remix

Falguni has blasted Neha's brand-new song, O Sajna, on social media. In an interview with Delhi Times, she even acknowledged learning about the remixed version three to four days earlier. Initial reactions were unfavourable. I reasoned, "Mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha." (I thought I was going to puke.)

Without mentioning anyone, Neha had written on Instagram about how pleased she was of herself. She spoke about her determination to excel as a musician and her self-made status.
