Termed as the most passionate love story of the year, the show is all set to witness Kanika Mann and Vishal Aditya Singh's chemistry in a never-seen-before avatar. However, as per sources, seems like Kanika Mann wasn't the first choice for Chand Jalne Laga.
If sources are to be believed, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Ayesha Singh was approached for the role a lot before Kanika Mann came on-board. As per the sources, the makers were highly impressed of Ayesha Singh's potential as an actress and were very keen on locking her for the show before anyone else. They had seen Ayesha's work in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein and were in high hopes about locking her for the project. However, apparently, due to a confusion, the deal didn't materialize and eventually, the show went ahead with the talented Kanika Mann as the secondary option after Ayesha Singh wasn't available for the same.
