Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai UPDATE: Abhimanyu breaks down as he meets Akshara after six years

With each new episode, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus becomes more and more intriguing. The current plot of the show is focused on Akshara and Abhimanyu ultimately meeting. After being apart for a few days, Akshara and Abhimanyu have now finally met face-to-face. Fans of AbhiRa are joyful and touched. The tv show skipped ahead six years to the ugly split of Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) and Akshara (Pranali Rathod). Abhimanyu divorced Akshara after blaming her for the deaths of Neil and their children. Heartbroken Akshara signed the documents and left Abhimanyu. She later found out that one of her unborn children is alive. AbhiRa finally met his match after so many years.

Abhinav invites Abhimanyu to his home

Abhir mistreated Abhimanyu, so Abhinav called him and invited him over for supper. Both Abhimanyu and Akshara are oblivious that their history is interfering with their present. In upcoming episodes, Abhinav will be charmed by Akshara as she prepares for the meal. In order to welcome Abhi, Abhinav and Abhir blow balloons. Calling Abhinav, Abhi informs him that he will be unable to join them for dinner because of an emergency. Abhir and Akshara become angry and furious. They yell at Abhinav. He makes an effort to uplift them by telling them that the house party will be a lot of fun for everyone.

Akshara and Abhimanyu meet for the first time in six years

As Abhinav plays music on his phone, the lights go out. They dance. As she gets closer to the door, Akshara spots Abhimanyu. She screams in horror. Despite being strangers, they continue to cross paths. As Abhimanyu sobs upon meeting Akshara, Akshara curses her fate. Moreover, they taunt each other.
