Almost every general entertainment channel has launched a couple of new shows over the past few months. Colors, one of the leading GECs in the market, also raised the curtain on shows like Sirf Tum and Thapki Pyar Ki 2 recently. The channel is now set to launch yet another show, details of which have been doing the rounds on the internet.
According to reports, actors Zain Imam, Reem Shaikh, and Akshit Sukhija are onboard to front the lead cast of the upcoming show. Well-known producer Gul Khan is set to bankroll the project under her production house Four Lions. Though the makers are yet to make any official announcement, some media outlets suggest that the show has been titled Fanna.

The show is said to be a love triangle. Sources told a leading publication that the channel is planning to shoot the promo of the show within a week. Regular filming is expected to begin right after that.
Zain Imam, who began his acting career with Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, has been part of several successful shows over the years. He was last seen on television in Star Plus’ Ek Bhram...Sarvagun Sampanna. Reem Shaikh, on the other hand, made her name with memorable performances in such shows as Chakravartin Ashok Samrat and Tujhse Hai Raabta. Akshit Sukhija also has hit shows like Shubh Aarambh and Lakshmi Ghar Aayi to his credit.
