The sequel, ‘Lust Stories 2’, has lived up to its predecessor's moniker. The four-part Netflix anthology has explored love, lust, and desire while delving into the complexities of interpersonal relationships. The stories depicted in both segments have equally impressed the viewers of bing. Another intriguing film franchise update is now available. If rumors are to be believed, the developers of ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘Lust Stories 2’ intend to introduce the third game in the acclaimed series. Even though nothing has been confirmed as of yet, this is already cause for celebration.
The creators of ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘Lust Stories 2’, Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara, as well as Netflix, have reportedly already started talking about making ‘Lust Stories 3’. As per reports, “After receiving a good response for ‘Lust Stories 2’, makers Ronnie Screwvala, Ashi Dua Sara, and Netflix are encouraged to take the franchise forward, and have full intentions to begin work on the third part soon. The initial discussions have begun.”
Four well-known filmmakers, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma, were in charge of ‘Lust Stories 2’. However, it is "not certain" whether or not these accomplished directors will take the helm of the third, as-yet-unannounced episode. In fact, ‘Lust Stories 3’ could potentially see the addition of new directors to the cast. “Though, the third part is definitely on the cards, and the scripting, casting, and other pre-production formalities will begin once all the directors are locked,” claims the source.
Directors Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, and Dibakar Banerjee collaborated on the 2018 film ‘Lust Stories’. The ensemble cast included Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Radhika Apte, Neha Dhupia, and Manisha Koirala among others. The audience responded well to the four parts of the anthology, which made ‘Lust Stories 2’ possible.
The star-studded ensemble of ‘Lust Stories 2’ includes, among others, Kajol, Neena Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Kumud Mishra, Tillotama Shome, and Angad Bedi. On June 29, it was released on Netflix.
