The search for new ideas for Shah Rukh Khan's SRK Plus is on, but it faces competition from Disney+ Hotstar. In a previous video, the megastar was seen having difficulties thinking out of the box, with Anurag Kashyap assisting him. His most recent video is an extended version of that struggle. The video begins with SRK, Kashyap, and actor Gopal Datt having lunch and discussing SRK+. Dutt is overheard telling Shah Rukh that Disney+ Hostar has taken all of the stars, so what are they trying to do with their app?
The actor responds that the name of the app is sufficient. To this, the latter responds that Hotstar's work is sufficient.
He then goes on to give specific instances of their popular shows from the previous year. Kashyap then joins in, stating that they have produced the majority of the hit series and movies this year as well. He then shows SRK his phone, which shows that the shows are rising in popularity. Irritated, he tosses Kashyap's phone into a bowl of soup. Finally, we see an advertising message for Hotstar in which it is stated that everything is already available on that platform and that Shah Rukh Khan should simply wait. It was followed by the hashtag, Thoda Ruk Shah Rukh.
The actor captions the video, “Dil toh pagal tha, ab dimaag bhi kharaab kar diya
DisneyPlusHS walon ne”
Have a look at the video which the actor shares on his Twitter account:
In the meantime, the actor is currently filming Pathaan, a highly anticipated film starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It will be available on January 25, 2022.
