The makers of the most anticipated courtroom drama Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach dropped the teaser on Wednesday. Pankaj Tripathi returns to his most loved character Madhav Mishra. The teaser features him as the clever attorney in the nearly 30-second clip as he takes on one of his most challenging cases to date.
In the quick teaser clip, a woman approaches Pankaj Tripathi to argue her point. He assures her that there is more to be read in the case, despite the fact that his opponent deems it plain and direct. The case's details and his client's identity are kept a secret, but he clearly goes above and beyond to defend her in court. Shweta Basu Prasad, who plays the character of assistant public prosecutor Lekha, is seen pursuing a case against Pankaj. "Victory shouldn't belong to you or me; it should only belong to justice," Pankaj is heard saying in the teaser.
Pankaj Tripathi shared a bit about his character in the upcoming season saying, “With the character of Madhav Mishra, I have been fortunate enough to explore them in Hotstar Specials’ Criminal Justice series across seasons. In the new season, he sets out on a new adventure where he questions the limits of our laws. There is much more to look out for in this season, with Madhav Mishra taking a deep dive into the legal battles of his clients.”
Vikrant Massey and Kirti Kulhari previously played key roles in Criminal Justice, the Indian adaption of the same-named BBC Studios drama series. Directed by Rohan Sippy, Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
