Delhi Crime 2 Teaser: Shefali Shah aka DCP Vartika Chaturvedi is back to hunt down criminals

Emmy Award-winning show Delhi Crime season 2 teaser is finally unveiled. The second season of Netflix's most awaited show Delhi Crime has a teaser that discusses the growth in crime in the city as a result of social and economic imbalance. This year's precise case on which the series will center itself is still a mystery. Shefali Shah reprises her role as DCP Vartika Singh in the teaser along with Rasika Duggal and Rajesh Tailang's teammates Neeti Singh and Bhupendra Singh. Additionally reprising their roles are Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj, and Gopal Dutt.

Shefali Shah shared the teaser on her Instagram handle and captioned it, "A terrifying menace has taken Delhi by surprise. Is the Delhi Police Prepared to take on this new threat? #DelhiCrimeSeason2. COMING ON 26th AUGUST. #DelhiCrime." In the trailer, the actress is seen hunting a serial killer in Delhi.

The first season was based on the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder incident, which shocked the entire nation. The tale was set in the aftermath of the gang rape when Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali) is tasked with identifying those guilty for the assaults and the victim's subsequent death.

Earlier this month, Netflix released a teaser giving a glimpse of the second season of the 6 most anticipated series including Mismatched, Masaba Masaba, Delhi Crime, She, Jamtara, and Fabulous Live of Bollywood Wives. While the other five shows will begin streaming on the OTT platform in 2022, the second season of She was already released in June.
