Sandeepa portrays Mithila Tomar, also known as Mithu, in Dr. Arora. She is the premature ejaculator husband of the Morena Police Superintendent. In response to the question of whether she had any reservations about appearing on the program that deals with topics that are typically forbidden, she states, “I would have been apprehensive if Imtiaz was not attached. There is a certain amount of credibility that Imtiaz brings to the table. You know for a fact that it’s not going to be vulgar or cheap in any way because it has Imtiaz attaching his name to it. And I knew he had written it so I knew very well that I was in safe hands. There was no doubt about the quality of the project.”

Although the subject matter of the show may make some viewers uncomfortable, Sandeepa explains that the show's goal is to normalize conversations about it. She says, “Yes, it is a subject that can make you yourself uncomfortable at times because you are not used to talking about such things with your parents and family. Yes, that apprehension could be there. But then, that’s what the intent of the show is--to remove it. We want to make it into a subject that any other medical issue. Until some time ago, mental health was like that. Until you talk about it, you won’t be able to normalize it.”
