A slew of successful streaming shows is scheduled to return with season 2 in 2022. One such show that won millions of hearts with its realistic storyline and terrific performances is Amazon Prime Video’s Made in Heaven.
Toplined by supremely talented actor Arjun Mathur, Made in Heaven was one of the most successful streaming shows of 2019. Apart from winning raves, the actor even bagged an Emmy nomination for his impactful performance in season 1.
It has been three years since fans have been waiting for the second season of the show. Their wait is going to end soon as Amazon Prime Video is expected to announce the premiere date for Made in Heaven 2 in weeks to come.
Made in Heaven 2 will see Arjun Mathur step into his role as Karan Mehra yet again. When asked about the challenges of reprising a loved character again, the actor said, “It is an interesting process to revisit a previously essayed role and hit new notes and dimensions. One knows that it worked for the audience from all the love and appreciation we received, but the challenge is to take it somewhere new. There is a little pressure to match and even surpass the audience's expectations, but I am positive they will not be disappointed. I am very curious about how the viewers react to Karan’s continuing journey.”
In addition to Made in Heaven 2, Arjun Mathur also has the second season of another acclaimed show, The Gone Game, as well as Anshuman Jha's Lord Curzon Ki Haveli with Rasika Dugal in the pipeline.
