Ranveer Singh revealed to Karan Johar on ‘Koffee With Karan’ season 8 that 'Simmba' director Rohit Shetty completed the film's shoot ahead of schedule so that Ranveer could attend his wedding to Deepika Padukone.
In response, he stated, “I called Rohit bhai and I said that aisa-aisa hai. He was like, thik hai, day night shoot karke khatam karenge tu jaa jee le apni zindagi. (I called Rohit Shetty and explained to him. He said OKAY, we’ll wrap up the shoot by working around the clock. You go and live your life).
Speaking about it, he stated, "We shot day and night 24 hours a day, seven days a week, towards the end of ‘Simmba’ so I could make it for my wedding. Then I boarded the plane."
Season 8 of ‘Koffee with Karan’ will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on October 26th. This time, the chats will be edgier, crazier, and frank, with no place for escape, to spice up your life and bring you closer to your favourite performers.
