The makers of 'Made in Heaven 2,' Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, are being accused by famous designer Tarun Tahiliani and writer Yashica Dutt of using their work without permission. Tarun wrote on his Instagram account that he was upset that his clothes brand had been used in the show without giving him credit.

In Episode 2 of the web series, Mrunal Thakur, who played a big part, wore clothes from Tarun's brand. Tarun was upset that the agreement about giving clothes for the show had been broken, and he pointed out that the clothes were credited to a fake label run by a fake designer named Akshay Jaiswal. He said that this breach of trust would not have happened if the company had hired a costume designer.
