Sai Ketan Rao to romance Khushi Dubey in Gul Khan’s cop-based show for Hotstar

Well-known television producer Gul Khan is gearing up to launch a cop-based show on Disney+ Hotstar. And if reports are to be believed, she has finalised the primary cast for the yet-to-be-titled show.
Buzz had it recently that Khushi Dubey and Altamash Faraz were in talks to play the lead pair on the show. The latest we hear is that while the makers have locked Dubey for the female lead, the deal with Faraz could not fall through and the makers again went on to search for the right actor who could fit the bill.
Now, a popular entertainment portal reports that actor Sai Ketan Rao, who was last seen in Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, has been finalised to play the male lead. Though the makers have not confirmed his name officially, sources in the know tell the publication that he indeed has been roped in for the upcoming show. Rao and Dubey both will play cops on the show.
Sai Ketan Rao won rave reviews for his performance as an angry businessman-cum-loving husband in Star Plus’ Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali. His crackling chemistry with co-star Shivangi Khedkar was one of the major talking points of the show.
