Saqib Saleem calls it a wrap on Crackdown 2 set at Voot
Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem on Tuesday announced that he has wrapped up filming the second season of his successful streaming show Crackdown (2020), set at Voot. The Apoorva Lakhia-directed espionage thriller series finished its shoot in Jammu & Kashmir.
Excited Saleem told a publication, “I am extremely grateful that I got to bring Riyaaz Pathan to the digital screens. The team of the series synergised wonderfully and we were able to successfully finish the shoot in time.”
The actor added that playing Riyaaz Pathan was a very fulfilling experience for him, something that he thoroughly enjoyed. “The journey of being Riyaaz through training and prep and embodying him before the camera was super fulfilling. I am looking forward to its release. I hope to entertain the audience in a way that gets them to watch the series again,” he added.
In addition to Saqib Saleem, Crackdown 2 also features such talented actors as Shriya Pilgaonkar, Waluscha De Sousa, Ankur Bhatia, Mohammed Iqbal Khan, Rajesh Tailang, and Ekavali Khanna in significant roles.
Saleem also has Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy film Kakuda in the pipeline. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. The actor is also waiting for the release of his maiden production venture, Double XL, starring Sonakshi Sinha and his sister Huma Qureshi in principal roles.
